Founded in 2024, by Miranda Grieco and Dan Kuby, Nightcap is proudly a Women-Owned Small Business. Our mission is to open up new channels to diverse voices, while delivering the highest quality content and services for our clients. We specialize in all things audio; including original composition, scoring, customizable sync library, sonic branding, sound design, and final mix.
At Nightcap, we are all about going the extra mile; seeing projects through to the end…and then some. In life and in practice, our team is always pushing for a Nightcap; the “I’ve got more to give” after-party hang, when the lights are low, the thoughts flow, and true connections are made.
In 2021, following the pandemic, the industry had changed to a more remote style of production. Miranda Grieco partnered with her longtime mentor and colleague, Dan Kuby, and rebranded their business as Nightcap Music to adapt to this new era of virtual collaboration. At the heart of this new venture is Nightcap’s Customizable Music Library: An intuitive client-facing music library. This powerful tool gives our clients the ability to search through our extensive catalogue of tracks to find the best music for their project at any time. Each track in our library can be fully edited to meet all custom scoring needs.

Miranda began working with Dan Kuby in 2014 as an intern at one of NYC’s premiere music houses, Pulse Music. As the mentorship flourished, Miranda made a steady rise from assistant, to producer, to Executive Producer and now, Partner of their own venture, Nightcap Music. Miranda’s attention to detail and passionate work ethic are reflected in her projects with brands like META, Google, P&G and Wendy’s.
Miranda leads Nightcap’s Original Music Production arm with a specialized focus on Sonic Branding. She loves working with brands to create vibrant and memorable Audio Logos to strengthen their brand recognition and set the tone for their future. Miranda thrives off the creative collaboration that comes with original composition.

Dan has been working in music production and licensing since 2004 when he joined Pulse Music in their first year of operation. Dan’s keen eye for talent and shrewd skills as a producer allowed him to quickly make his way from intern to Executive Producer, leading the business for over 15 years, working with countless brands including IBM, AT&T, GE and McDonalds.
Dan leads Nightcap’s Licensing arm. In building Nightcap’s client-facing, customizable music library, he has collected two decades worth of original music into one easy to navigate catalogue. In addition to Nightcap’s own tracks, Dan is always searching for new artists and bands to feature on Nightcap’s song library for licensing opportunities.
